Mahmoud Aref is a native Arabic speaker and an experienced Qur’an teacher with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Education, Alexandria University. He has been working as a teacher at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif for 17 years, with extensive experience in teaching and memorizing the Holy Qur’an for Arabic-speaking students. His long-standing career reflects deep expertise, strong pedagogical skills, and a commitment to authentic Qur’anic education.

He studied the Qur’an and Islamic Studies at Ibn Sina Academy and holds ijazah in Al-Tuhfah and Al-Jazariyyah. He is currently working toward obtaining his ijazah in the Holy Qur’an, continuing his academic and scholarly development.

In addition to his work with Arabic-speaking students, Mahmoud has more than two years of experience teaching the Qur’an and the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers. During this period, he has taught more than 25 non-native students and completed over 3,000 teaching hours, delivering structured, engaging, and effective lessons.
